Students will explore, experience and develop understandings of themselves within and across communities. They will be expected to apply these understandings to promote physical, social and emotional wellbeing and connectedness with others.
At the completion of this course, it is intended that students will be able to:
- Identify and use curriculum that promotes critical understandings of relevant social and cultural contexts that influences the development of self, wellbeing and connectedness. (Graduating Standard: 1, 2)
- Develop teaching approaches and strategies that promote physical, social and emotional wellbeing and connectedness for each learner. (Graduating Standard: 3, 4, 6)
