A critical examination of group dimensions in counselling activities.

Learning outcomes
At the completion of this course, it is intended that students will be able to:- To understand the principles and theoretical foundations of group counselling, including group dynamics and leadership.
- To develop knowledge of different types of group counselling and their application in addressing the presenting needs of clients, with reference to literature and professional practice.
- To apply the principles of group counselling in planning an aspect of a group programme to meet the needs of a nominated clientele.
- To develop competence in articulating an analysis of the dynamics of group processes within an experiential setting.
- To develop leadership skills required for facilitating group counselling processes.
