    An introduction to principles of critical analysis as applied to theory and practice in counselling, and to basic methodology in research with particular reference to research in counselling.

    At completion of this course, students will be able to:
    • Demonstrate an understanding of a range of research approaches relevant to counselling.
    • Demonstrate the ability to find and critique literature in areas of interest related to counselling.
    • Demonstrate the ability to plan a research project.
