Learning outcomes
At completion of this course, students will be able to:- Define and critique the social work role in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Describe and explore commonly occurring mental health problems of childhood and adolescence.
- Appraise and review a range of assessment methods regularly applied to mental health problems of childhood and adolescence.
- Identify a defined range of evidence-based interventions applied to commonly occurring mental health disorders of child and adolescence.
- Describe and apply the skills of case formulation guided by a biopsychosocial framework of assessment.
